Evaluation:
Rose loves homonyms. So much that she even named her dog, Rain after one. However, Rose has Asperger’s Syndrome and has a hard time connecting to her peers. Throughout this book Rose goes on a journey to do what is morally right, besides her father’s harsh words. This book is a touching story for reader’s ages nine to twelve years old, who may struggle with fitting in with their peers, growing up without a parent, superstorms, lost animals, unhealthy relationships, or especially if they have Asperger’s Syndrome as well. The author of this book incorporates many topics and events into this book, any reader will surely be able to connect in some manner.

This book is about a girl who is a moving on from her brother’s recent death. Her anxiety holds her back until she learns to deal with her problems.

Evaluation:
Annie is a worry wart. After her brother’s recent death, Annie cannot seem to let go of her anxiety and begins to worry and fear over unnecessary things. This is a great book for student’s ages eight to twelve years old. If you know a child that worries excessively then this is the book for them. The author writes in a way that has the reader thinking that they can totally relate to Annie. Other great books by this author is a well-known book called, The Thing about Georgie.
